Fairtrade Fortnight

Fairtrade Fortnight which ran until the second week of March saw the local Fairtrade Group organise a number of events in Nenagh. These included a Fairtrade tea and coffee morning in the Church of Ireland and stands at Nenagh Country Market. However, without doubt, the main event during the fortnight was the visit to Nenagh by Yahya Msangi who works with the Tanzania Plantation and Agricultural Workers Union (TPAWU).
